It’s always such a joy to photograph this wonderful family, and this newborn session was no exception! Having captured their journey from pregnancy to the birth of their first baby, and now welcoming their sweet new baby girl, it felt like a full-circle moment. Big brother, full of energy and personality, and brought so much fun and laughter to the session. He eventually tired himself out and took a nap with grandma on the studio couch. Grandma even joined in for a special photo with all of her babies, creating a beautiful generational memory. As always, mom and dad brought their infectious sense of humor, making the session feel lighthearted and relaxed, full of natural, joyful moments.
This session was a beautiful reflection of the thoughtful details and inspirations that mom had in mind for her growing family. She shared the nursery’s soft color palette with me—blues, pinks, and sages, with a subtle touch of Bridgerton elegance—that we incorporated into baby’s portraits and overall aesthetic. We also repeated olive green, a favorite of mom’s, to tie in with the existing wall art from big brother’s newborn session. The final images were designed to complement their growing collection of family artwork, creating a cohesive visual story that will hang proudly on their walls for years to come. It’s been such an honor to watch this family grow and to help tell their story through these beautiful, personalized portraits.
