Dunellen NJ Newborn Photographer

This session was extra special for me! A bit over 5 and a half years ago, I photographed big sister’s newborn session, and now I got to play with her new baby sister. A tiny peanut, this session was even more special because I am proud to call these lovely people my friends! I know I am in such a privileged space as a newborn photographer, to be trusted with all my clients’ tiny new babies. I consider myself even luckier when friends book me for these special moments as well.

For baby girl’s session, mom wanted creams, neutrals, and a hint of floral, and baby girl was happy to oblige! Usually the life of the party, big sister was exceptionally well behaved, and marveled at everything we did. Her pride at her new baby sister was so evident, and so very sweet. A few days prior to our session, she had told me that she was so exhausted. Why? Because she had to do everryyyyyyything for her new baby (did I tell you she’s a riot?)! I do think the highlight for her was being able to put on the fluffy, twirly, frilly dresses for photos. Her solo portrait surprised us with how grown up and mature she looked!

We ended up with a beautiful gallery of family, big sister, and baby photos. They truly highlight the very fleeting size of a fresh new baby. Just look at the teeny baby in the moon and bucket props next to her sister! I know these newborn photos will be a treasure for these girls for years to come.

Ready to book? Reach out around the 20 week mark to book your spot on my calendar. Once baby arrives, we will schedule the exact date before the two week mark post birth. We’ll provide all props and wardrobe for baby as well as a selection for mom. Siblings and parents are welcome to join in for portraits with their newest family member.
