Alongside the emerging buds in bloom in the early spring, the ever-changing colors of autumn are the perfect backdrop for your next fall family photos in new jersey. A magical, colorful time during the year, families constantly seek out this timeframe to capture their yearly family photos. Every day brings a new burst of color, and the look of a specific location will change week to week! Between the first changing leaves peeking through summer greens, to the very last holdouts waiting to fall, there is a little surprise around every corner!
9 Month Fall Family Session
This sweet little family reached out to me in early Spring with a desire to capture their first official portraits as a family. Mom expressed her sadness at not having been able to do a newborn session and capturing the love between the two of them and their new baby due to certain circumstances surrounding baby’s birth. 9 months old is the perfect age to capture tender family moments. Baby is curious, but generally isn’t trying to run away as the majority aren’t walking yet. Little things about mom and dad’s faces intrigue them too, and they’re not yet fighting to escape the cuddles! Mom actually surprised me by saying baby girl generally has stranger danger and cries with anyone new (and even some people she knows!). We were all very thrilled that she didn’t even once hint at a cry! She probably did find me curious as I was wearing a bold black and white patterned sweater. Maybe that’s the trick with these little ones – just make yourself out to look like those high-contrast black and white baby shape books!!!!
This beautiful session culminated with a selection of fine art prints and two wall art pieces of family and baby solo to grace their home! These are our Medium sized Amalfi panels, a true work of art. Mom actually teared up when we unwrapped them in her home!
