After celebrating the anticipation of their third daughter with a maternity session filled with soft neutrals, mauves, and bold artistic fashion, it was only fitting that we carried those same beautiful tones into the next chapter—welcoming their baby girl into the world. She arrived a few weeks earlier than planned, just shortly after our maternity session.
This newborn session reflected the same timelessness as their maternity portraits while embracing the tenderness that only a brand-new baby can bring. Mom selected a few favorite colors and props to incorporate, allowing the session to feel cohesive. This time, however, we also leaned into richer berry hues, creating a gallery with more depth and contrast.
We began with delicate shades of blush pink and soft grey, wrapping baby snugly in airy layers of tulle as she rested peacefully against her mother. This posing felt gentle, highlighting the quiet intimacy of those first days together. Layered with her two older sisters, a pure expression of mom’s love for her daughters.

Three Sisters, One Beautiful Beginning
Big sisters have a way of making newborn sessions unforgettable, and these two were no exception.
With the promise of gowns, they stepped in front of the camera once again—this time with their newest little sister. They posed with her, pretending to sleep while wrapping her in gentle hugs and affectionate smiles. Behind the scenes, there was one particularly adorable secret: tucked beneath their long, billowing skirts was a beloved lime green Squishmallow, quietly accompanying them for a little extra comfort. It was one of those wonderfully authentic childhood moments.
Their love for their baby sister was evident, and watching the three girls together, particularly the younger sister, made it easy to imagine the lifelong bond they are only just beginning to build.

For parent portraits, we shifted into richer berry tones. Mom looked absolutely stunning in a dramatic magenta ruffled gown, creating striking portraits alongside her newest daughter. Against these deeper tones, the vibrant color drew the eye directly to mom, dad, and baby. Dad’s smile never faded, Mom radiated pure joy, and their happiness was completely contagious. Their newest little girl made the entire experience even easier by sleeping peacefully through every setup, allowing us to move seamlessly from one portrait to the next.
As the session came to a close, we incorporated one final detail that carried extraordinary meaning. Nestled atop baby’s head was a tiny knit hat that both of her older sisters had worn during their own newborn portraits years before. It was a simple heirloom, but one filled with love—a beautiful reminder that while every child has her own story, they are forever connected as sisters.
These are the details that become family history. The colors may change, children grow, and families evolve, but thoughtful traditions like these become treasured threads woven through every chapter. It was an honor to document another milestone for this wonderful family, and to preserve the beginning of a lifetime of memories shared between them.
