You know how sometimes the world makes quite a few turns before you find certain people? This is the case with this adorable family and STUNNING mom. On previous occasions, and for other sessions, both dad and mom had reached out for portrait inquiries. This time, the stars aligned and we were able to create some beautiful maternity portraits for mom-to-be. Dad was actually the one who reached out to me to plan these images for mom, which I always find extra endearing and sweet. He told me that for their first pregnancy, they booked a portrait session a bit later in the pregnancy, and their daughter was born THE NEXT DAY! This is why I always recommend going no later than 34 weeks for your maternity session. They are expecting another baby girl, and their first daughter was totally precocious and adorable. She has totally got dad wrapped around her fingers in a good way!
Bring a personal piece!
Mom brought her bridal robe to this session, which I loved – and the image she chose in it was one of our favorites. For her other photos, I created a soft neutral pink draped look with yards of fabric, and the end result complemented her beaded dress perfectly.
Mom’s delicate tattoos perfectly played into the sage green dress I pulled out for her, and combined with her gorgeous dark hair, made for a striking image. I really love the unique set of looks we created together. Some beautiful memories to share with her baby girls in the future.
