It was my second time taking photos of this family. The first time was for mom’s fabulous outdoor maternity session. Big sister was just about a year and a half old and did pretty well during the newborn session with her new little brother. Mom’s lie down shot with her two babes was a little tricky, but we managed to get both of them in there for a split second before big sister ran off! Overall, she did great for her age! For little brother, we incorporated some greens to reflect his nursery feature wall, and neutrals to go with everything else in their home decor. I can’t wait to see these wonderful humans again at their next session!
Holiday Newborn Photos
This little guy was born right at the beginning of December, so naturally mom and dad wanted to incorporate a little bit of a holiday theme to a few images. For this setup, we put him in a little Santa suit for a few of the images. We incorporated baby sister as well – but please remember, that for wiggly under two-year-olds, these shots are generally a composite. I put the final image together in Photoshop, in case the toddlers are wiggly and risk bumping into baby’s prop, and this way baby is always safe and supported.
