Rahway NJ Maternity & Newborn Photographer

I had the pleasure of photographing both this family’s maternity and newborn images. A gorgeous early fall day still allowed us to shoot their maternity session outdoors with those subtle leaf color changes. It also allowed us to shoot a few images in the water. She looked like an absolute goddess in a golden colored silk. The colors she chose for her other maternity looks were equally gorgeous, and we were able to create some special images to mark this pregnancy.

When they came back with their little boy a few weeks later, he was extra amazing as well! We coordinated and shot their family images specifically to create a trio of canvas wall art for their living room. And then shot the remainder of the session per the parent’s specific color requests. I have to point out that this little guy had THE CUTEST dimple ever when he smiled, and he blessed us with quite a few smiles during our time together.

Newborn Session

Since baby arrived as an early Christmas gift, we of course had to shoot a couple of special holiday themed images. A sweet note I found out while we were actually shooting, – grandma LOVES all things Santa Claus! This will definitely be her favorite Santa Claus of all time!

Fun fact: I’m not sure why, but all these kiddos love to smile while dad is holding them. This nearly always elicits a comment from mom “Aw man, why didn’t he smile for me?” We like to say they just feel comfortable farting on dad and that’s likely why they’re smiling too!

For their newborn session, we shot their images specifically for a three piece wall art set for over their couch. It is absolute perfection and features a 20×30 central family image on canvas, flanked by two 16×20 canvasses on either side, on a warm grey wood block.
