This family maternity session struck a chord for me – they were absolutely the perfect trio. Mom and dad were super adorable and in love, and their daughter was just so super sweet with mom. I just adore the look on dads face, surrounded by his ladies. You can tell they are just such a loving family, and I love it when dads just LOVE mom during their session.
As they are expecting a baby girl, we focused on pinks and floral touches. Funny story- I completely underestimated big sister’s height for the pink look. She’s 11 years old and I tried to put a size 10 dress on her. It was just too small, so in true designer fashion, I just wrapped the straps around the front bodice a-la the little mermaid when she comes out of the sea and wraps herself in burlap. And we all LOVED the way it looked! Can I also just say there is something Zendaya-esque about this young lady? She was just so beautiful and poised. (I love Zendaya, btw).
I think mom looked like a total queen for her session. And I just kept thinking about our first conversation when she inquired about booking. She mentioned to me she didn’t feel like herself, that she didn’t feel amazing, her pregnancy hasn’t been easy. I am so happy to have been able to show her that she is in fact, beautiful and amazing. I love these three and wish them nothing but blessings with their new baby girl!
This gorgeous collection of images will be going into a beautiful maternity album for them to treasure and enjoy for a lifetime.
