I had the pleasure of photographing this family when this stunning mom was pregnant with her baby girl. It made me so happy to see this stunning trio once more, this time to celebrate their togetherness. Although mom originally scheduled this as a mom and baby session, we couldn’t help but convince dad to partake. It would honestly be a crime not too. Besides, the session colors and themes closely mirrored their maternity images with creams, red, and black (mom’s favorite color!). Mom chose the sweetest outfits in black for some of their images, and opted for some other pieces from my client wardrobe as well.
Mom had initially shared some images of her gorgeous little lady and one caught my eye in particular. She was draped in this stunning silk scarf with gold embroidery. I thought it would be the perfect nod to their culture to incorporate it into our session. I had also just received this new pleated red gown and hand-painted backdrops that were the perfect complement to mom and baby. For me, this just turned them into absolute works of art.
You can tell there is so much love and joy in this family. I can’t remember any moment of time when baby girl wasn’t smiling, except for the very, very end when she decided she was done with us. Thankfully, it was right after our red set, so we ended on a very high note!
I can’t wait to see them again in the future!
