That is the feeling that drove Francis Henri owner Katherine Oyer to open her store. Throughout her own international travels, Katherine found herself collecting souvenirs for her children, beautiful, high-quality pieces that were well-made and fashionable. Upon her many returns to the States, however, she struggled to find the international brands that she had grown to love and resorted to online orders with expensive and time-consuming shipping. She knew all too well the struggles of cramming suitcases full of baby clothing, trying to stay within the airline-appointed 50-pound weight limit.
Katherine knew that she couldn’t be the only one looking for beautiful heirloom-quality products from brands across the pond. Having always dreamed of owning her own store, Katherine drew upon her years of retail experience and started Francis Henri’s online store. In 2022, they opened their first brick-and-mortar store in Westfield, NJ. Today, the store carries dozens of international brands of children’s goods sourced from countries like Australia, Portugal, Spain, and the UK. Now you can relive that “I bought it on vacation” feeling every time you use something you’ve purchased at Francis Henri!
