This gorgeous, glowing mom inquired about a session when she was 39 weeks pregnant! Luckily, I was able to squeeze her in 2 days later, while we both openly hoped she wouldn’t go into labor. I normally don’t advise going past 34 weeks of pregnancy for a maternity session – this is mainly for comfort and safety of mom. Many of my moms have gone into labor at 36 weeks, but separately from that, the discomfort of late pregnancy can become quite real for most moms.
In this case, mom assured me she was still perfectly comfortable – and as you can see from her gallery, she was a rockstar. She was super agile, and looks genuinely serene in all of her portraits. I couldn’t believe how well she did! And luckily baby waited a few more days to arrive! As we did not know the baby’s gender, this session was a gorgeous compilation of both pinks, blues, and soft creams.
