I was overjoyed to photograph this family for their newborn session – not only because I know them personally, but because this mama is one of my very best friends. There is just a different, special kind of feeling when you see one of your best friends growing her beautiful, perfect family. We shot their family portraits a little bit differently than the usual standing images, and I have to say, I absolutely love them. Mama is effortless and glowing, dad is beaming, and big sister is just amazing (can we talk about her awesome Flock Of Seagulls head of hair?). I just dated myself, I know.

But seriously, every inch of this family is perfect, and I love them so much.
