Starting at four months old, The Little Gym offers parent and baby classes for up to three years old. Instructors are trained to provide a safe environment for both parents and children, and to guide you through a variety of activities together. Guided songs, music, baby gymnastics, and other activities will ensure a fun environment while developing motor skills, balance, and coordination. Teamwork and mutual support strengthens your bond with your baby, and also offers the opportunity to engage with other like-minded parents! Their introductory offer allows you try a class at a discounted rate before you sign up for a membership!
Rockness Music
With several locations in Scotch Plains, Maplewood, Westfield, Montclair and Hoboken among others, Rockness Music describes itself as a “pumped up Parent-and-Me music class.” 45 minute classes for toddlers are offered once a week for 6 to 10 weeks, are performed on live instruments and feature high-energy interactivity between parents and kiddos. You can expect drum circles, beat-making, dramatic play, and group sing-alongs. You can try a class for free by scheduling a drop-in demo and then decide if you want to join on a full class basis. Recommended for ages 0-4 years. Rockness also school music programs for partner schools, and birthday party options for parents as well.

My Gym’s littlest members and their parents are led through a variety of exercises, activities, dances, and rides designed to stimulate motor skills and cognitive development. Your baby will discover their natural abilities through balance, agility and tumbling skills, and other adventures with you alongside for the ride. As they grow, other age-specific classes, as well as family free play options are available. More focus is put on physical abilities, listening, teamwork, and social skills, all through structured games, pre-gymnastics, and more.

Little Rockers Music offers interactive music and movement classes for parents and babies for ages 0-9 months, and 3mo- to-5 years of age. Participate together with your baby or toddler in 45 minutes of directed movement, singing, dancing, and musical play for a fun bonding experience. For babies not yet crawling, classes offer lighter warm up movements and musical activities, along with tummy and back time, sit up time and other musical play. Little Rockers also offers private instrument lessons, interactive school shows, kids party entertainment, hot summer camp shows, creative music videos and even a web series!

Designed for ages 6 months to 4 years of age, each leason is based in interactive musical play through arts, puppets, and instruments.
