This sweet young couple was just beaming during their maternity session. Mom came in and had this shy quietness about her, but she just glowed during her session. We kept things simple for these two with some casual denim and white looks with a hint of baby blue. Just enough glamour for this mom! I happened to have this bejeweled denim bustier that perfectly matched mom’s jeans, and it was totally giving us a Selena vibe in this portrait of her! We loved it!
I’ve had the pleasure of photographing so many different moms, and in conversation we always talk about family, heritage, and line of work among other things. I am always totally blown away when I see these beautiful, quiet, peaceful mamas and learn that they are in either in the military, reserves, marines, or other similar line of armed forces. Here’s to all of the tough as nails, but beautiful, soft, sweet moms that I have had the pleasure of photographing! They will be the fiercest, coolest protectors of their babies.
