Connecticut Pregnancy and Maternity Photography
I was so delighted to welcome this gorgeous couple into my studio this past month! And even more honored that they traveled from Connecticut to have their maternity portraits taken. This isn’t the first time I have clients from out of state (some even with tiny toddlers from 3 and 4 hours away), and it is always a huge privilege for me, truly. Mom and I spoke at length prior to the session about the outfits and colors she wanted to use during her portrait session, and dad brought the perfect complements to her wardrobe. As you know, I always appreciate a good blazer and suit look- and the texture in that first look totally complemented mom’s look- even the tie tied into mom’s makeup hues.
I am absolutely in love with the sweet moments and soft looks between my client and dad – his adoring looks were the icing on the cake for me (and mom). Their couples portraits were some of her absolute favorites when we were choosing her final images and artwork pieces.
Since i have an extensive client closet on site, as a last minute add on, mom really loved a wall portrait I had of another couple, and we pulled out the same pearl robe for her. The dreamy, ethereal look it created was magical. It perfectly tied into mom’s natural grace for some really gorgeous images. It was truly an amazing experience for me to work with these two amazing parents-to-be. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!
