When planning a maternity session, I always encourage clients to send me their own ideas and tell me about their personal style. It may be that something inspired you and you want to create your own version of it for your session. This is exactly what happened with this – we created a specific floral maternity session look for this beautiful mom, and IT IS SPECTACULAR.
We combined some more neutral tones with hints of blush and mauve to create some truly special images for them and their coming baby girl. Personally, I love their couples images together, they look so adorable and in love. We incorporated some boho elements as well in addition to the florals to tie back into baby’s nursery too.
The world takes many, many turns and is indeed small. When a client reaches out to me, I never guess that they’ll walk in and their husband will have been in my parents’ house as a kid and know who I am. Or that they just saw my dad the week prior because of mutual musical connections. In this instance, I also photographed one of mom’s close friends the following week!
