After their raspberry crops were depleted by a growing deer population, owners Adrienne and Don pivoted their NJ farm to growing lavender instead. Over ten years later, they farm seven varieties of lavender organically without the use of pesticides or chemical fertilizers. Their lovely farm is home to a lavender labyrinth and a shop where they sell a variety of handmade products made with estate lavender. Visits to Mad Lavender Farm may include enjoying a glass of freshly made lavender lemonade before taking part in a goat yoga class with baby Dwarf Nigerian Goats. Adrienne partners with local artisans for themed events centered around herbology, arts and crafts, oil distillation, and more. Have some whimsical, flowery fun at Mad Lavender Farm! The farm can also be booked to host yoga retreats, or private events, and reservations can be made for photo sessions during lavender season.
Hidden Spring Lavender Farm

Hidden Spring Lavender Farm is run by a husband and wife team who planted their first lavender over 15 years ago in NJ. They grow 15 different varieties to suit a number of uses, from bouquets to oils to culinary flavoring. They use their estate-harvested lavender to distill their own lavender oil. Then they use that in their homemade products like sachets, soaps, creams, moisturizers, and more. Their neck pillows, eye pillows, and dream pillows all make wonderful gifts, too. Hidden Spring Lavender Farm is also home to a pack of award-winning alpacas; peep in and say hello when you visit, or sign up to take an alpaca on a walk!
Pleasant Valley Lavender

Pleasant Valley Lavender is a beautiful NJ farm where guests can stop by and enjoy spending time amidst the flowers. Their farm welcomes everyone to come and enjoy their lovely green space as they reconnect with nature and enjoy the incredible scent of blooming lavender. They are pet-friendly, so you can even bring your (leashed) furry friend along for an excursion! In the spring through the summer, Pleasant Valley Lavender offers Workshop Wednesdays, where you can make your own lavender craft with their estate-grown products. Princeton Lavender is a family-owned farm that has been selling their NJ home-grown lavender since 2019. In the years since, they’ve mastered the making of products like lavender pumpkin bread, lavender cold brew coffee, and lavender lemonade, all made from their house-made lavender syrup. As their business has been growing, so has the farm! Now, you can visit with the entire family to take in the beautiful sights of their lavender, visit their dappled and spotted Boer goat herd, and spend time with their pony and alpacas. While they sell an array of lavender products, they also sell multiple varieties of lavender plants, so you can take a little bit of Princeton Lavender home to your own garden.

Bath and body products, culinary ingredients, accessories, and even baked goos and lavender ice cream are special treats that will linger long after your visit. They even have honey made from hives on their farm. Orchard View Lavender Farm is also available to rent for private parties, intimate gatherings, and even weddings. During certain days throughout the year they have themed events like their “Mother’s Day Lavender Painting Class”, and Sunday Suppers where they team up with Chef Ed Oliveira to offer a five course, family style dining and live music in their rustic pavilion.

Happy Day Farm in Manalapan New Jersey opens its fields of “Phenomenal” lavender at the beginning of June. Featuring lush rows of these fragrant lavender plants, the farm is dotted with adorable themed photo-ops in varying shades of lavender. Fix yourself within a purple door frame, bicycle, or even painted bathtub for perfect photo opportunities. Lavender bundles are available for purchase, and your little ones can feed the goats and chickens on the farm. Children 1 and under are Free, regular admission applies to all other guests. To extend your visit, you can also take advantage of their raspberry farm and picking opportunities, which also open around the same time.
