If you haven’t seen this amazing moms maternity session, you should! You can find it here! If you haven’t guessed already, pink is her favorite color, so we HAD to repeat it for her baby’s session. Mom’s only requests were that there be pink and flowers as baby’s nursery has florals to match!
We were able to repeat her two favorite dress looks from the maternity session, including that stunning magenta gown. Mom has expressed her desire to get one and wear it all day, every day, at home. The portrait with her sweet little girl in this dress totally resembles a heart, and I couldn’t be more in love!
This little girl was a total SMILER! I can’t remember the last time a baby smiled so much and so big! Smiling at this age is totally involuntary in babies and they have no clue that this is what they’re doing. It is usually just a response to something physical in their bodies- many times it’s gas. So as much as she smiled, she was also quite gassy- but in a pleasant way, nothing was bothering her for her shoot! She was a pro!
Grandma & Baby
We were also able to capture some special portraits with three generations of beautiful ladies. This was an important portrait for mom as she is an only child and mom’s princess! Grandma was telling me that she has been surrounded by a family of men forever, and was overjoyed to have another little girl in the family finally!
