Our Birthing Center was created to give women a safe and comfortable alternative to hospital and home births. Their inviting, spa-like setting provides expert, family-centered care to women with low-risk pregnancies. The “wellness” model of childbirth is at the core of everything they do, meaning they provide continuous, supportive care with minimal interventions. Women know what their bodies need to give birth – your team is just there to make sure everything is going well and that mom and baby are healthy and strong.
As a client of Our Birthing Center, you’ll be required to participate in a childbirth preparation class to get you ready for your experience. They also highly recommend that you use a doula for an even more positive and empowering journey!
Services
As a mama-to-be, your body was designed to grow, birth, and nurture babies. Everything about the birthing process is natural, if not downright miraculous. Your body will do even better throughout labor and delivery if you are comfortable and relaxed, which is where Our Birthing Center comes in! Their facility, including the birthing suites, was designed to have the look and feel of a high-end spa or boutique hotel rather than a medical or clinical setting.
Amenities like Wi-Fi, a Bluetooth sound system, and adjustable lighting are all available to bring you comfort. You’ll also have access to birthing balls, fluffy spa towels, and a cozy bassinet for your baby once they’ve arrived.
Throughout your labor and delivery, they encourage you to move around as best feels comfortable to you. So eat, and dip in and out of the suite’s tub as much as you like. You won’t stay attached to monitors and wires, so you’ll have total freedom to listen to your body and follow your natural instincts. You’re also welcome to invite whomever you choose to be a part of your support team, whether it’s grandparents, friends, or other children. It’s your birth story, and you are your own author!

Giving birth in a luxurious tub creates a comfortable and relaxing way to welcome your baby into the world. Your tense, tired muscles can better relax and unwind in the water. Reducing stress-related hormones and allowing you to produce pain-alleviating endorphins. Plus, babies that are born into warm water have an easier transition into the real world.
The comfortable, deep tubs in the birthing suites at Our Birthing Center are ideal for use throughout labor and delivery. Use them as your body sees fit throughout your experience!
