This sweet family contacted me for some portraits of their very handsome boy’s first communion. We met at a location halfway between them and I since they were coming from out of state. We set out to capture their son’s personality, that age where they are still quite innocent and baby faced, but with the poise of a young little gentleman. He was absolutely perfect and showed us a little bit of GQ in some of these images. When we did our zoom to select their photos, his favorites were totally in line with mom’s choices. I love that he was a part of that, and chose what he felt good about as well!
Photographing this age can be tricky, but children are really coming into their own, and it is nice to see them recognize it in themselves!
Booking Your Communion Photos
It is best to inquire about communion photos for your child in the months leading up to their communion date. While I don’t take portraits on the actual communion date, we can schedule a formal portrait session before or after their celebration to create some perfect images for you and your family.
