This is the second time I’ve had the pleasure of photographing this sweet family. The first time was with their oldest son, who we photographed at almost a month old! It seems like it was only a few months ago, that is how quickly time flies with your “newborn” babies once they are here. With his brother, we had used neutral tones, light greens, and a beautiful rust color for his photos. This time, we stuck with a similar color family, none identical, but ones that will marry back to big brother’s so they have a cohesive “story-telling” collection of images.
This little boy was a dream and gave us the sweetest smiles during his session – how precious is that big smile in mom and dad’s hands? He was also a pro at giving eye-contact throughout, something that surprised us, but were favorites for mom and dad. We are so used to babies sleeping for endless hours during these early stages, that when they make direct eye-contact with the camera, it is just so intriguing! Since they see mostly black and white shapes and silhouettes, they are probably just boggled by the bright white, and smaller black circles hovering around them from the camera and light.
Overall, he was a pro during his session, and what’s not to love with these two sweet boys? And can we just take a moment to want to just pinch big brother’s cheeks? He’s just so beautiful with all of that luscious hair and those deep dark eyes. I don’t know what it is lately, but the toddler big brothers have just been bringing the amazing hair. And check out baby brother’s hairline – doesn’t it remind you of a heart just framing his face?
Mom and dad have built-in best buds with these two. I can’t wait to see them grow up!
