This mama said the most magical words to me prior to our session- “please use your expertise to pick whatever you want for me.” She gave me color preferences of gold, green, and pink and I took it from there. I have to say that every time I put a new outfit on mom, it became my new favorite of hers. She looked absolutely stunning in every color.
Her and her husband were just the loveliest people! Their energy was just so nice, and you could feel all of the love between them. Mom choose to do both an indoor and outdoor session, so we had a lot of time together. We got extremely lucky with the weather and were able to do everything I had planned for them (even if it did look like we were going to get caught in a storm for a moment!).
Every baby is a blessing, and this baby is an extra special rainbow baby. We incorporated this massive rainbow skirt for one of mom’s wardrobe changes. Dad got quite the workout trying to throw all of this fabric behind the scenes, but he was such a good sport. We even got the fabric in a shape of butterfly wings, which is equally symbolic! I hope he rested his arms and mom rested her feet after this long session.
